Zion!
I went to Zion looking for quiet time in nature. What I found was pure awe. There is a divinity to this place, not in its traditional sense, but something cosmic. Traversing between the Watchman and the Temple of Sinawava, beneath peaks that took 200 million years to become what they are, you feel the full weight of nature's power and beauty at once. Zion packs an extraordinary diversity of landscapes, colors, light, and life into a relatively small stretch of earth. From the iconic valley floor to the quieter reaches of Kolob Canyon, every turn stopped me in my tracks. I came for stillness. I left with a commitment to keep coming back.
