Icelandscapes
Iceland demands many visits. My first trip was with friends hiking across the Laugavegur trail, and the second was with my family covering the eastern and southern parts by road. Same country, completely different experience. What stayed constant was the sense of being somewhere that doesn't play by the usual rules. Dramatic landscapes that shift from lava fields to glaciers to lupine meadows, a coastline that feels like the edge of the world, and endless sky. The light at any given time of the day dances and enchants with colors so vivid they look edited. Iceland is unlike anywhere else on earth, and these images are my attempt to capture why.
